TV presenter Denise van Outen hinted at tension in her relationship just days before announcing that she had made the "difficult decision" to split up with Eddie Boxshall.
The 47-year-old confirmed that she had ended their seven-year relationship in a post on social media this week.
And in an interview with the Mirror, which was released earlier this month, the former Big Breakfast presenter had revealed she wasn't in a rush to marry her fiancé, also 47.
The West End star - who shares daughter Betsy, 11, with ex-husband Lee Mead, 40 - suggested that she would rather prioritise renovating her garden than plan the wedding.

She said: "We've not really been focusing on organising a wedding because we've been trying to get the house finished and get final things done, like a new patio."
Denise further commented: "Besides, you can't plan for anything at the moment so there’s no rush to do anything."
The Only Way is Essex narrator then said that she and Eddie - who is understood to have two children from a previous relationship - wouldn't have a child together.
"Young people plan weddings because they want to crack on and start a family but that's not going to happen. It's not like we are having any more children," she commented.

Announcing the split this week, Denise wrote on Instagram : "Over the past couple of months, there has been much speculation regarding my relationship with Eddie."
The actor and singer continued: "It saddens me to confirm that we are no longer a couple. I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship."
"I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made. We ask that you please respect our privacy at this time, especially for our children," she added.

Eddie has yet to publicly comment on the news of their break-up but he did upload a cryptic post to social media following Denise's announcement this week.
It saw him share a photo of a mirror that had a message written on it in marker pen. It read: "When everything is uncertain, everything that is important becomes clear."
