Denise Richards' husband supports her as she slams ex Charlie Sheen for 'playing game'

Denise Richards' husband Aaron Phypers is said to be "heartbroken" over the co-parenting situation between her and ex-husband Charlie Sheen, according to a source.

It was recently reported that the actor, who was married to Denise from 2002 to 2005, will no longer pay her child support.

The former couple share two daughters, Sami and Lola, but it's been hard for the girls amid their parents' ongoing differences.

However Denise's husband, who she shares daughter Eloise with, has been on hand and is showering her with support as Sami, 17, recently moved out of her home to live full time with her father after feeling "trapped" at her mum's.

Speaking to PEOPLE, a source revealed Aaron has been trying his best to be there for Denise as the drama unfolds.

"Aaron's a kind man. He's in a tough role, but he keeps his cool. He's heartbroken because Denise is heartbroken that Charlie is pulling this after all she has done for him," the insider said.

"He's upset because his wife is upset that Charlie is playing this game with the kids."

They added: "Denise is heartbroken that Charlie has taken this road. She loves those kids."

"Denise's life is those kids and it's always been those kids. Aaron is devastated because she is devastated, and Aaron has been incredibly patient with the kids," they concluded.

Denise has previously slammed her ex-husband for "pitting" their daughter Sami against her.

Sami alleged on TikTok that she moved out of her mum's home last month, saying she "finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening" and "dropped out of high school."

The source claimed "everything is a big party" at Charlie's house.

"There's no homework — it's ice cream and movies and staying up late. There isn't the same structure going on over there. It's a lot more fun than staying at home and finishing school and doing normal activities with your friends," they shared.

"Denise's life is those kids and it's always been those kids."

Charlie's representative declined to comment when approached by The Mirror.
