Denis Suarez sends message after first Arsenal start as fans ask for one thing

Arsenal ace Denis Suarez finally made his first start in an Arsenal shirt in Dubai today (Tuesday).

The Spanish midfielder has struggled to get a look-in since his high profile loan move from Barcelona at the end of the January transfer window.

But he played a valuable 90 minutes as the Gunners saw off Al-Nasr in a friendly in Dubai to mark the opening of the Al Maktoum Stadium.

Reports have suggested he still has plenty of work to do if he is to convince Unai Emery to pull the trigger and make his switch from Barcelona permanent in the summer.

And the 25-year-old issued a defiant message on social media after finally getting his start as he vowed to continue getting better.

What Arsenal fans are saying about Denis Suarez as he makes first start

"90 minutes to keep improving," Suarez captioned a photo of him in action. "Thanks Dubai for the amazing support!!"

Suarez put in a promising performance in the game as Arsenal ran out 3-2 winners with a mix of youth and experience in their side.

And Arsenal fans responding to his post were all asking for one thing - more Premier League action for the wide man.

Suarez has appeared in just 67 minutes of Premier League football since his January move yet supporters hope his impressive display will be enough to convince Emery to give him more of a chance.
