‘Demonstrations were very small’: says Donald Trump about one of the biggest protests in American history against his government

Since taking office for a second term this year, Donald Trump has relied heavily on lies and fear tactics. Over several months, he has used both to his advantage, especially in regards with the ongoing ICE raids that have garnered support from his MAGA follower base.

This time, though, he’s showcasing a different trait that he often leans on. In a different level of delusional, Donald Trump recently dismissed the existence of approximately 7 million Americans who turned up to the ‘No Kings’ protests on October 18 to oppose him and his administration. In snippets released from an interaction with an interviewer while onboard a plane, Trump can be seen underplaying the nature of the protests while labelling it as a “joke.” He said:

“I looked at the people. They are not representative of this country. And I looked at all the brand new signs I guess paid for by Soros and other radical left lunatics. It’s looks like it was. We’re checking it out. The demonstrations were very small, very ineffective. And the people were whacked out.”

He also added that he wasn’t a King as the Americans claimed and that he had worked hard to make his country “great.” Just to be clear, this is the same person who probably gave the thumbs up for the official X page of the White House to share that picture of him and US Vice President JD Vance wearing crowns, just a day after the ‘No Kings’ protests. Additionally, this is also the same dude who got really worked up about the “Hate America Rally” (yes, that’s what he and his juvenile Republican friends call it) that he had to create an AI video of himself flying a war plane and defecating on the protestors to feed his ego. If he’s not impacted by the massive crowd at the demonstrations, then he’s definitely lying. I mean, it’s not that tough for him to do that.
