After a successful theatrical run, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle is finally heading to OTT platforms. The makers have confirmed that the first film in the highly anticipated final trilogy will begin streaming on July 28, 2026 across multiple platforms.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle OTT release date

Fans can stream Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle from July 28, 2026 on Crunchyroll worldwide. The film will also be available on Netflix across several Asian countries, excluding Japan, Mainland China, and India.

For viewers in India, the movie is expected to be available on Crunchyroll from July 28. It is also available for pre-order on Amazon Prime Video, although the digital purchase availability may vary by region.

The announcement was made during Anime Expo 2026, with Crunchyroll confirming that fans can relive the epic battles from July 28.

What is Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle about?

Based on Koyoharu Gotouge's bestselling manga, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle adapts the popular Infinity Castle Arc, marking the beginning of the franchise's final trilogy.

The story follows Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps after they are pulled into the mysterious Infinity Castle by the powerful demon Muzan Kibutsuji. Inside the ever-changing fortress, Tanjiro and the Hashira face fierce battles against the Upper Rank demons as they prepare for the decisive showdown that will determine the fate of humanity.

The film combines high-stakes action, emotional storytelling and breathtaking animation as Tanjiro, Nezuko and the Hashira fight their way through one of the most dangerous locations in the series.

Box office performance

Originally released in Japanese theatres in July 2025, Infinity Castle completed its theatrical run on April 9, 2026.

The movie earned approximately $271.1 million (¥40.21 billion) at the Japanese box office and sold more than 27.4 million tickets, making it one of Japan's highest-grossing anime films. Although it enjoyed massive commercial success, it did not surpass Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, which continues to hold the record as the highest-grossing anime film of all time.

Where to watch previous Demon Slayer seasons

Fans looking to revisit the story before watching Infinity Castle can stream the earlier seasons of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and JioHotstar.
