A row of old business units in Sunderland city centre could be razed to the ground under new plans.
Last week, an application was submitted to Sunderland City Council to demolish several properties in Nile Street.
If approved, several buildings will be affected including numbers 45 - 46, 47 - 50, 51, 52, 53 - 54.
According to an application by Homes England, the buildings will be "demolished in a piecemeal fashion" and will help "open land up for development."
They include the former base of recording space, Studio 47 - a company which was officially dissolved in March 2017.
And they also include the mural-covered building at numbers 2-4. opposite the Travelodge on High Street West.
Alan Howarth Vehicle Repairs - which is based in one of the buildings set for demolition - also plans to relocate elsewhere in the city.
Public comments are open on the plans until Wednesday, May 22 with a decision expected by the end of the month.
