
The Democrat Party will on Monday hold a meeting of former MPs and election candidates to explain their new election campaign strategies and policies, at both the national and regional levels, party spokesman Thana Cheeravinij said on Sunday.
Monday's meeting follows a meeting of the party's executive committee on Friday.
Mr Thana said that in the Friday meeting the executive committee endorsed the appointments of party representatives in the provinces and the establishment of regional branches as required by the law.
The meeting also resolved to appoint six party advisers. They are Chamni Sakdiseth for political and administrative affairs; Khunying Kalaya Sophonphanich for science, technology and environmental affairs; Kiat Sitthi-amorn for economic and foreign affairs; Ong-art Klampaiboon for public relations; Thawil Praison for legal affairs; and Kanok Wongtra-ngan for public affairs.
