Demi Vance signs new contract with Rangers

Northern Ireland International Demi Vance has signed a contract extension with Rangers ahead of the new Scottish Women's Premier League season.

Vance - who is currently recovering from an ACL operation - has extended her deal to the summer of 2022.

The defender linked up with the Gers from current Danske Bank Women's Premiership holders Glentoran in 2019 on an initial 18 month contract.

On her new deal she told Rangers TV "“I am delighted to extend my contract for another year.

"Personally for me it didn’t get off to a good start with coronavirus and then my injury but hopefully my rehab will continue the way it’s going and I can start pre-season with the team.

“I am privileged to play for Rangers Football club and I am happy to be here."

In 2019 Vance won NIFL Women's Player of the Year whilst still at Glentoran before making the move to Glasgow.

She follows fellow Northern Ireland International Megan Bell in extending her contract at the Ibrox club.

Bell signed a new deal earlier in May keeping her at the club until June 2022.
