Demi Moore and lookalike daughter Scout Willis touch down in Paris for fashion week

Demi Moore and daughter Scout Willis have landed in the capital of France for fashion week.

The actress, 58, and her lookalike daughter, 29, were snapped hopping out of a black car and carrying their luggage into the hotel they are staying at for the Haute Couture fashion event on Tuesday.

Demi - who lives in Idaho in the USA - appeared to find the plunging temperatures in Paris unfavourable as she wrapped up in a long black overcoat and carried a chequered blanket over her arm.

The Ghost star continued her wintery look with a beret and chunky boots.

Scout - who is the daughter of Demi and ex-husband Bruce Willis - cut a similar figure in an oversized coat teamed with a blue cardigan and navy blue slacks.

Both Demi and Scout covered their mouths and noses with face masks, with Scout opting for a black fabric covering and Demi decided on a black fabric mask as well as a large Perspex one over the top.

It is unclear why Demi and Scout have touched down in Paris as this year's haute couture showcase - that began yesterday and lasts until Thursday - is being held digitally amid the coronavirus pandemic.

However, it was not love at first sight when they met at a premiere as Demi thought he was "dismissive" when she first laid eyes upon him.

Bruce had been awarded an Emmy, twice, for comedy-drama series Moonlighting - but Demi wrote in her memoir Inside Out that she didn't watch television and had never heard of the show.

Trying to think of something they both had in common, she wrote: "We both had deals with TriStar Pictures, so I said, 'I hear you have the good office at TriStar.' He replied with something short, like, 'I'm never there.' My impression was, he's kind of a jerk."

Despite her initial thoughts, Bruce proved to show his true colours and eventually won Demi over.

She said he treated her "like a princess" and they'd often go on drives to see her family.

They embarked on a fairytale romance and went on to get married in Las Vegas before starting their family.

They split for good as Demi's mother was dying and handled it well amid their break-up being leaked to the public.

The couple now considers each other as family and spend a lot of time together - including the first US lockdown.

Demi shared: "Bruce is back in my life now, too, a valued friend and cherished family member. My daughters have two new little sisters -- Mabel and Evelyn, Emma and Bruce’s kids -- and so our family continued to grow. I’m so grateful we all have one another."
