Demi Lovato reportedly enters in-patient rehab facility after drug overdose

Demi Lovato is finally out of the hospital.

The 25-year-old singer has reportedly checked out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and into an in-patient rehab facility almost two weeks after a drug overdose.

"Her family and team have decided that the best situation for Demi to focus on her sobriety is to check into an in-patient facility," a source told Entertainment Tonight.

"Demi understands that every day is a struggle to stay sober, and she's doing everything she can to get back to where she was. Demi is thankful to be surrounded by so many people who love her, and want to see her win."

The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer was hospitalized on July 24 in Hollywood after being treated with Narcan, used to reverse the effects of a narcotic overdose.

She broke her silence Sunday in a heartfelt message that thanked her medical caretakers for their help and her fans for their support.

"I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I've learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet," she wrote on Instagram late Sunday afternoon.

"I want to thank God for keeping me alive and well. To my fans, I am forever grateful for all of your love and support throughout this past week and beyond. Your positive thoughts and prayers have helped me navigate through this difficult time. I want to thank my family, my team, and the staff at Cedars-Sinai who have been by my side this entire time. Without them I wouldn't be here writing this letter to all of you.

"I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery," she concluded. "The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side. I will keep fighting."
