Demba Ba confronts official after alleged racist incident as PSG and Basaksehir walk off

Furious Demba Ba took a Champions League official to task as Basaksehir walked off after an alleged racist comment.

The Turkish side were drawing 0-0 in their final group game against Paris Saint-Germain when coach Pierre Webo was sent off.

But there was a furious reaction on the sidelines as fourth official Sebastian Coltescu was accused of making a racist comment.

It appears he may have referred to Webo simply as a "black guy", judging by the reaction of the Basaksehir bench.

Former Chelsea striker Ba could be heard saying: "You never say 'this white guy'.

"So why when you mention a black guy do you have to say 'this black guy'?"

The fourth official appeared to try to argue that something had been lost in translation as he pointed out that he'd been speaking in Romanian.

It's believed Coltescu told referee Ovidiu Hategan to show the red card "ala negru" or "to the black one".

According to Romanian journalist Emanuel Rosu the fourth official said: "The black one over there. Go and check who he is.

"The black one over there, it's not possible to act like that"

The PSG players were equally upset with Presenel Kimpembe and Neymar taking the officials to task.

The Frenchman was picked up saying: "What? What? Is he serious? We are heading in. We are heading in. That is it, we are heading in."
