Demaryius Thomas is already imagining himself in a New England Patriots’ uniform. The veteran wideout signed with the team this week, and celebrated by posting a photo of himself in a Patriots jersey on Instagram.
Here’s a sneak peak at what Thomas could look like in New England’s uniform.
Thomas joins the Patriots after a season with the Houston Texans and the Denver Broncos, where he started his career and played nine and a half seasons. He recorded five consecutive seasons with over 1,000 yards, but he had struggled to maintain that impressive production in recent years. Because of age, the trade and an Achilles injury, Thomas’ 2018 season was his worst in years.
However, he’ll join Tom Brady with hopes of bringing new life to his career. Thomas could also start the season atop New England’s depth chart with Julian Edelman and potentially Josh Gordon.
