Demaryius Thomas appears to get removed from PUP list

New England Patriots receiver Demaryius Thomas was in practice on Tuesday with pads and a uniform, according to reporters on the scene. That seems to indicate that he will be removed from the physically unable to perform list later today on the official transaction wire. He started the season the PUP list, as he has been rehabbing an Achilles injury that he suffered during the 2018 season.

Safety Pat Chung, defensive tackle Michael Bennett, defensive end Derek Rivers, linebacker Shilique Calhoun, defensive tackle Trent Harris and tackle Martez Ivey were not spotted, per NESN’s Doug Kyed. Josh Gordon, meanwhile, remains on the non-football injury list and receiver Cameron Meredith is on the PUP list.

Just a few days ago, the Patriots were without receivers Julian Edelman, Thomas, N’Keal Harry and Maurice Harris and tight end Matt LaCosse. This week, those players have made their return or debut at practice. The receiving corps, which looked briefly depleted by injuries, suddenly looks formidable and competitive.
