DeMarcus Cousins recorded fourth straight double-double in Warriors’ bounceback win

In the Golden State Warriors’ 121-110 win over the Hornets in Charlotte last night, DeMarcus Cousins became the first Golden State player to record four consecutive double-doubles since the 2016-17 season.

Stephen Curry last did it in March 2017 with points and assists, according to Raymond Ridder, the team’s Senior Vice President of Communications via reporting from Mark Medina of The Mercury News.

On Monday night, Cousins scored 24 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds in a bounce-back performance that should quell his frustration over weaker performances in prior post-All-Star-Weekend games.

It was also a strong bounce-back win for the Warriors, who lost their third straight game to the Houston Rockets before an ABC primetime crowd Saturday night.
