Netting his first goal for Everton in the 2-2 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road, Demarai Gray is proving to be a new fan favourite with Blues supporters.
The £1.7million summer signing from Bayer Leverkusen opened his account for the club with a powerfully-struck low finish on 50 minutes.
Birmingham-born Gray has arrived on Merseyside with a point to prove after exiting Premier League rivals Leicester City in the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old finished top of our ECHO fan poll for Everton man of the match as he received 53.7% of your votes.
Next up was Brazilian international Allan with 20.7% of responses, followed by his midfield colleague Abdoulaye Doucoure on 11.6%.
Other members of Rafa Benitez’s squad who caught the eye, in what was the hosts’ first Premier League full house for over 17 years, were Yerry Mina (3.3%), Richarlison and substitute Alex Iwobi (both 2.5%).
