MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Privately owned Delta Electricity said on Wednesday it would consider buying AGL Energy's <AGL.AX> Liddell coal-fired power plant, but that would depend on how much it would cost to extend the life of the plant beyond 2022 and other factors.

"Liddell is one of those plants, if it was available, we'd be interested, certainly, in having a look at," Delta Electricity Company Secretary Steve Gurney told Reuters.
