Delta Force opens up sign ups for its biggest esports tournament of the year

Delta Force season Break is in full swing alongside the Technical Test for consoles, and Team Jade keeps up the momentum by opening sign-ups to this year’s biggest esports tournament for the Operations mode so far—Delta Force Invitational.

Delta Force Invitational is the game’s first international event and the main attraction on this year’s esports roadmap. Teams of three players from eight regions (Europe, North America, Pan-Pacific, Mainland China, Latin America, Middle East, Japan, and Korea) can sign up for the Open Qualifiers from now until July 27.

The Open Qualifiers take place only two days, from Aug. 2 to 3. The top teams advance to the Open Qualifiers Semi-Finals on Aug. 9, and then Open Qualifiers Finals on Aug. 16. All this leads to the DFI Grand Finals, taking place in China this September.

Only 12 teams can enter the Grand Finals, with slots limited for each region:

  • North America, Europe, Pan-Pacific, Mainland China: Two slots per region.
  • Latin America, Middle East, Japan, Korea: One slot per region.

Undoubtedly, this will be a tough competition, with hundreds, if not thousands, of teams competing to secure spots for the Grand Finals and have a piece of a massive $500,000 prize pool.

If you’re not keen on entering the competition, though, Delta Force recently launched season Break. It features new maps for both Warfare and Operation modes, new Operator Tempest, and a long-awaited Arknights collaboration with multiple free rewards to earn.
