Delivery van veers off Scots street and ends up in bushes

A delivery van has plunged off the side of a Scots road and ploughed through bushes in a dramatic crash.

The DPD vehicle was snapped tangled in brambles after veering off Castle Terrace in Kennoway.

However, locals have suggested the incident occurred after the driver forgot to secure the handbrake.

Dramatic drone pictures uploaded to Facebook this afternoon show the van wedged half way down the hillside.

Behind it lies a trail of flattened shrubbery from where the vehicle sped into the bushes.

The pictures shared have stunned social media users.

One user said: "How the hell did the driver manage to do that?"

Another added: "Hope the driver is alright."

And one person wrote: "I can’t even think how this happened, but hope the driver is okay."

DPD has been contacted for comment.
