A delivery driver was robbed after four men in a car allegedly attempted to run him over.
One eye-witness said that the man, who was delivering to the Newbridge area of Kildare, had food and other items taken from his car by the thugs during a late-night shift on Saturday night.
The onlooker added that there was a car with four men inside who allegedly tried to hit the driver with the vehicle before hopping out and stealing from him.
A spokeswoman for the Gardaí confirmed the incident to Dublin Live and said: "Gardai are investigating the theft from a car of a delivery man, in Milfield, Newbridge, Kildare."
She added: "The incident occurred on 4 January at approximately 11.15pm. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
