A delivery driver had her car stolen with 40 parcels inside after parking up and returning to find men inside her vehicle.

She parked her grey Kia Ceed in Main Street, Oxton, to deliver parcels.

Officers said she returned to her car to find a man in the passenger seat and another by the driver’s side of the car, who grabbed her hand and ripped the car keys out of her hand before driving off towards Forest Road.

The stolen car had about 40 parcels inside, police said.

The incident happened at about 10.25am on March 22.

Police have launched a witness appeal, saying they believe there were a number of people on the street when the incident took place, including tradesmen.

The stolen vehicle was found in Belle Vue Lane, Blidworth, about two hours after the incident.

One man involved has been described as white, about 5ft 8ins tall and of slim build.

Police say he has short dark hair and was wearing a dark puffa style coat.

The other man, who was in the passenger seat, is described as white, with short dark hair who was wearing dark clothing.

Anyone who witnessed this robbery, including any drivers who may have dashcam footage of the incident, is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 289 of March 22.
