Londoners will be able to enjoy a meal while flying 1,000ft in the air as Deliveroo launches a helicopter dining experience.
The food delivery service is trialling the idea in London this August, with customers offered the chance to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner — or high tea — in the air.
Diners will depart from Battersea heliport on RooCopter One having had their chosen food delivered to the spot. During the 20-minute experience diners will be able to enjoy their takeaway food as they fly above London, taking in the sights.
The firm is partnering with Charter-A helicopters to launch the project, with the organisers hoping to take the idea global in coming months.
