Deliveroo has launched a brand new service which allows customers to pick up food for themselves and save money by not forking out for the delivery charge.
The Pickup service also means that some restaurants who have never featured on Deliveroo before will now be available to customers.
Leeds is one of just 13 cities across the UK to be chosen for the launch of the new service, which Deliveroo says will not only save customers time and money, but also widen their choice.
The company also believes the move will be particularly beneficial to people wanting to pick up food on their lunch break or a meal after a night out.
More than 20 restaurants across Leeds have already signed up to the new service, including Pizza Express, Byron, Tortilla, Pizza Hut and Frankie & Benny’s.
