Deliveroo launches Black Friday takeaway sale - these are the Manchester restaurants signed up so far

With restaurants shut until lockdown lifts in December, treating yourself to a takeaway is one way to show your support for Manchester's hard-hit hospitality businesses.

And if you're placing an order next week, you could be quids in too.

Deliveroo is launching a Black Friday sale, with discounts of 25 per cent all week on meals from some of the city's most popular restaurants.

Among those confirmed to be offering the deal so far are independent favourites including:

The deal is also available at chains including Taco Bell, Tortilla, Wasabi, Creams, Byron, Bella Italia, Las Iguanas, LEON, Tortilla, Prezzo, BrewDog, Joe & The Juice and many more.

You'll need to spend £20 to claim the discount, which is available from November 23 to 27 via the Deliveroo app.

Customers in Manchester will also be in with a chance of getting a free can of Haig Club's pre-mixed whisky serves when they order from the Deliveroo Editions kitchen.

The M.E.N launched its #OrderLocal campaign earlier this month, calling on readers to support the brilliant food and drink businesses on their doorstep.

All you have to do is order a takeaway or drinks delivery from your favourite local restaurant, bar or producer and know you're helping to support them through another tough month in what's already been a difficult year.

If you don't want to lose your local, please use it - if you're in a position to.

We've teamed up with our sister site InYourArea and ReachPLC titles around the country to create a free search tool where you can find businesses offering takeaway and delivery services near you.

Just enter your postcode below.

If the search tool doesn't display on your device, click 'display interactive content' or go to the InYourArea website.

You can help spread the word by sharing a picture of your takeaway on InYourArea and on social media with the hashtag #OrderLocal.

Don't forget to tag the business to show your support - and you can share it with us too by tagging @CityLifeManc on Twitter, @citylifemanchester on Instagram.
