Deliveroo cyclist crashes into car and rolls down bonnet in shocking dashcam footage

Shocking footage shows a Deliveroo cyclist being flung onto the roof of a car before crashing to the floor.

The dramatic video appears to show the cyclist failing to give way before colliding with the moving vehicle.

In an incredibly scary moment, a car travelling along Kempston Street in Liverpool city centre is met by the rider who smashes into the windscreen, causing substantial damage.

He is knocked from his bike onto the bonnet and roof of the car and flung forward in a roll.

The cyclist, who appears to come quickly from a side street and out into the path of the moving car, sustained only minor injuries and can be seen quickly trying to jump back to his feet.

Merseyside Police confirmed the incident, which happened in November 2020, was reported.
