A new Italian wine bar and deli is opening a stone’s throw from Allerton Road in south Liverpool.
The venue will serve up traditional Italian favourites including homemade hand stretched pizzas made with fresh dough on the premises every day, as well as cheese and charcuterie boards.
Behind the bar will be speciality wines, with cocktails, gin and beers also served. There will also be live music nights and private hire available.
Family run business The Green Olive, on Dovedale Road, is opening in the former Dove and Olive, which closed at the end of last year after what the owners described as "a tough few years".
After a transformation, the new venue will open on Friday, January 31.
New owner Amy said: “All of our ingredients are sourced from Italy directly using the finest Italian suppliers. We hope this gives people a chance to try some dishes, cheeses and meats that they’ve never tasted before.”
