NEW DELHI: A 35-year-old man died and two people, including a minor boy, were injured after a wall collapsed in Pochanpur in Dwarka Sector-23 on Saturday.
According to Delhi Fire Service (DFS), around 2.18pm, they received a call about the incident at the DDA flats in B-block. Three fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
Atul Garg, director of DFS, said that while digging the foundation for a house, the wall of an adjacent house collapsed. One person was found trapped in the debris. They were immediately sent to a hospital by a PCR van. One of the victims died and he was identified as Jagdish.
The two injured people were Harbai (30) and Pramod (10). Police said they will take legal action against the owner of the plot and the contractor.
