NEW DELHI: Traffic movement was affected again on Wednesday in parts of the city as Congress continued its protest against the questioning of Sonia Gandhi by Enforcement Directorate for the third day in the National Herald case.
Police said several Congress workers and members of parliament, including Manish Tewari and Jairam Ramesh, were detained on Wednesday from Vijay Chowk where they were holding protests calling their party chief's questioning by ED a political vendetta. They were all taken to Kingsway Camp and were later released. Ahead of Wednesday’s protest, Delhi Traffic Police had shared updates on social media and issued advisories.
