Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation services now ‘hassle-free’ with Aadhaar authentication

NEW DELHI: Lieutenant governor VK Saxena on Friday granted approval to Delhi government to issue notification for Aadhaar authentication of eight online services related to Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC).

The facility, said officials, will help Delhi residents get seamless, hassle-free and speedy delivery of services “with respect to their needs in industrial areas” of the city and also augment “ease of doing business”.

“In line with the good governance vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which seeks to ensure transparency by ensuring digital delivery of services, this decision will ensure that people of Delhi are able to avail hassle-free services without human intervention and repeated physical visits to DSIIDC,” the LG secretariat said in a statement.

The eight services covered under the scheme include permission for mortgaging the properties, freehold conversion, request for refund, restoration of lease deed, changes in constitution of firm or company, application for possession, time extension for construction, and online payment of dues. “Any individual or entity seeking these services will be able to get their work done by getting the required authentication done automatically through their Aadhar ID,” said an official.
