Delhi rains: Capital gets showers as IMD issues orange alert; check Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad forecast

Delhi witnessed rainfall on Tuesday morning as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert, warning of more showers across several areas of the city over the next few hours.

Safdarjung, Delhi's base weather station, recorded 32.4 mm rainfall till 8:30 am, while the Ridge received 37.6 mm, Lodhi Road 36.7 mm, Ayanagar 4 mm and Palam 0.8 mm of rainfall, according to the IMD.

The weather department has forecast generally cloudy skies with moderate rain in the national capital. Light to moderate rainfall is expected during the morning, forenoon, afternoon, evening and night, with gusty winds likely during the spell.

Delhi weather today

Delhi is expected to record a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. Humidity is likely to range between 75 and 80 per cent.

The IMD has forecast a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain. Light to moderate rainfall is expected during the morning, forenoon, afternoon, evening and night.

Gurgaon weather today

Gurgaon is likely to record a minimum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 35 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The temperature is expected to remain around 31 degrees Celsius for most of the day.

Winds are likely to blow at around 5.96, with gusts reaching 7.25 and moving in a 123-degree direction. Sunrise is expected at 5:41 am, while sunset is likely at 7:15 pm.

According to the seven-day forecast, the maximum temperature is expected to be 35 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, 39 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, 36 degrees Celsius on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 35 degrees Celsius on Sunday, and 31 degrees Celsius on Monday.

Noida weather today

Noida is expected to witness a minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The temperature is likely to stay around 30 degrees Celsius through the day.

Wind speed is expected to be around 4.89, with gusts of 7.53 moving in a 125-degree direction. Sunrise is likely at 5:39 am and sunset at 7:14 pm.

The seven-day forecast indicates a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, 39 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, 34 degrees Celsius on Thursday, 36 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday, 34 degrees Celsius on Sunday, and 30 degrees Celsius on Monday.

Ghaziabad weather today

Ghaziabad is likely to record a minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The temperature is expected to remain around 28 degrees Celsius during the day.

Winds are likely to blow at around 4.92, with gusts of 7.53 and a direction of 136 degrees. Sunrise is expected at 5:38 am, while sunset is likely at 7:14 pm.

As per the seven-day forecast, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 33 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, 37 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, 33 degrees Celsius on Thursday, 35 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday, 33 degrees Celsius on Sunday, and 30 degrees Celsius on Monday.

Faridabad weather today

Faridabad is expected to record a minimum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 36 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The temperature is likely to hover around 31 degrees Celsius during the day.

Winds are expected at around 3.37, with gusts reaching 6.69 and moving in a 63-degree direction. Sunrise is likely at 5:28 am, while sunset is expected at 6:51 pm.

The seven-day forecast suggests a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday, 35 degrees Celsius on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 34 degrees Celsius on Monday.
