- Supreme Court
- Seva Teerth
- Janpath
- Mandi House
- Central Secretariat
- ITO
- Delhi Gate
- Indraprastha
- Khan Market
- Jor Bagh
- Shivaji Stadium
- Jhandewalan
These stations are located close to Jantar Mantar and the Parliament complex, where security has been significantly enhanced.
Why are Delhi Metro stations being closed?
The Metro station closures are part of extensive security measures around the ongoing CJP protest, which coincides with the Monsoon Session of Parliament. Authorities have increased security around central Delhi to manage the demonstrations and maintain law and order.
Delhi Police step up security
Delhi Police have deployed additional personnel across central Delhi, including teams from the Rapid Action Force (RAF), near Parliament and Jantar Mantar.
CJP protest continues at Jantar Mantar
The CJP has continued its protest at Jantar Mantar. The organisation had earlier announced the 'Chalo Sansad' march, a call that was also supported by activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was admitted to hospital on Saturday morning.
Why is the CJP protesting?
The demonstrations began in June 2026 at Jantar Mantar over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak.
