NEW DELHI: A major fire broke out in a godown, set up in an open area, at Tikri Kalan PVC market in Delhi.
So far, no casualties have been reported.
As the fire was difficult to be brought under control, more fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
There are a total of 40 fire-tenders trying to douse the fire.
"More than 200 fire personnel and over 40 fire tenders have been deployed to contain the fire at Tikri Kalan PVC market," said Atul Garg, Delhi Fire Service director.
"Due to high wind speed, the fire has spread to a very large area, but so far no causalities have been reported," he added.
