Delhi Congress appoints observers to all 14 districts ahead of Lok Sabha polls

NEW DELHI: In anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Delhi Congress has designated observers for all 14 districts, according to officials on Tuesday.

These observers will operate at the grassroots level to fortify the party, collaborating with district-level party leadership, as per an official statement. Arvinder Singh Lovely, the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president, unveiled the names of the appointed observers.

Lovely emphasized that a joint meeting involving district Congress committees and observers is scheduled for later this week. The observers' primary task is to recommend the selection of active workers as presidents for all 280 blocks and other office-bearer positions.

To achieve this, they will engage in discussions with senior leaders and various categories of workers before finalizing the names of block presidents and office-bearers through consensus.
