Delhi cabinet nod to village development plan

NEW DELHI: The Delhi cabinet on Wednesday approved the proposal to allocate funds meant for village development at the constituency level.

Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said: “Delhi government allocates Rs 2 crore each for development work in Delhi's villages. New reforms will help pool funds and take up development work in areas falling under multiple villages.”

He also said, “We have decided to provide this budget as per the constituency.” TNN
