Delhi: Burglar caught in Jahanpanah forest

New Delhi Police

NEW DELHI: A 32-year-old burglar was arrested following an encounter with Delhi Police here on Friday, officials said.

The accused has been identified as Sangram Singh, a resident of Farukhabaad district in UP, they said, adding house breaking tools, one country-made pistol with two live cartridges, two knives etc., were recovered from his possession.

“On Friday around 5 am, criminals were intercepted by police inside the Jahanpanah city forest,” an officer said.
