Delhi: BJP workers protest, to hold dharna at Rajghat today

New Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party Rajghat (Geopolitical Entity) Arvind Kejriwal Punjab

NEW DELHI: A large number of BJP workers, including activists of the women wing, protested against AAP national convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, demanding his arrest over the allegations of him supporting separatists in Punjab.

The BJP functionaries will also stage a dharna at Rajghat on Sunday on the same issue.

Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta alleged that Kejriwal had demanded proof of surgical and air strikes in Pakistan and had also sat on a dharna during the Republic Day celebrations but sided with various “elements with separatist mindset”.

Leader of Opposition in Delhi assembly, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, alleged that Kejriwal was talking about dividing the country for aseparate nation.

The BJP functionaries also raised local issues such as pension for women, corruption cases against AAP ministers and MLAs,and Oxygen shortage in Delhiduring spike in Covid-19 cases among others.
