NEW DELHI: A 50-year-old man was found dead inside the fridge at his home in northeast Delhi's Seelampur on Friday evening. The police have filed an FIR of murder and are looking for the killer. The cops suspect the role of a close relative in the murder.
The deceased, identified as Zakir, lived alone in the house while his wife and children lived seperately at some distance in the same area.
The cops received a PCR call at around 7.15pm from a relative of the deceased about the incident. The relative claimed that Zakir had totally secluded himself and when she visited his house, he was found dead inside the fridge. The fridge door was slightly open and body parts could be seen from outside.
The forensic team inspected the crime scene and collected evidence. Cops claimed to have received a vital clue about the suspect and said they would crack the case by Saturday.
