Belgium lightweight Delfine Persoon insists she’s on a mission to right an injustice against Katie Taylor next month and believes the Bray boxer is engaging in “anti-boxing” tactics.
Taylor puts her IBF/WBA/WBC/WBO titles on the line against the Flanders police officer in Eddie Hearn’s estate in Essex on August 22.
The meeting is a repeat of the controversial June 2019 bout which Taylor won on a majority decision at Madison Square Garden.
Persoon said: “We can see if we can anticipate her anti-boxing game a little more (in the rematch). There are some points we can work on. Boxing is boxing. We should go for it.

“We are definitely up for it. We didn’t think the opportunity would come. We now have the opportunity, although with short notice.
“I am ready to get the victory following the injustice last June, not by words but in the ring. I am ready. No more talk.”
