Deleted Friends scenes that even the most dedicated fans probably haven't seen

Remember the one when Chandler and Monia get stopped by airport security? Or the one with the dream within a dream? Or how about the one when Chandler ruins his wedding dance with Mrs Gellar?

Probably not, because these incredible Friends moments were left on the cutting room floor and never made it onto our screens.

To celebrate the Friends Reunion we've literally waited years for, we've had a look back at some of the deleted scenes that were left out of the final shows.

The One with Airport Security

Friends bosses made the decision to delete a scene which sees Monica and Chandler getting into trouble at airport security due to the 9/11 terror attacks.

The clip, part of The One Where Rachel Tells, was due to air just two weeks after 2,977 people lost their lives in the devastating attack.

The scene was due to air after 9/11 (Warner Bros)

It was shown for the first time in 2007, with the message "As part of the history of the show, we hope that the scenes can now be viewed in the spirit which they were originally intended".

It shows the couple arriving at the airport ready to go on their honeymoon and they are automatically bumped up to first class.

But when they are going through airport security, Chandler tells a joke that gets him into all sorts of trouble.

He says: "Hey look at that, federal law prohibits any joking regarding aircraft hijacking or bombing.

"You don't have worry about me ma'am, I take my bombs very seriously."

He is then dragged off by security guards and is taken in for questioning.

Sitting at a table next to Monica, he says: "This is ridiculous, I was just making a joke. Shouldn't the sign really say no bombs? Isn't that the guy we really have to worry about here, the guy with the bombs? Not the guy who jokes about his bombs?

"Not that I have bombs. If I did, I probably wouldn't joke about them, I would probably want to keep that rather quiet."

The guards then go through their suitcases, upsetting Monica as they ruin her perfectly organised packing.

When they're finally allowed to leave they get the call from Joey and Pheobe saying they can smell gas coming from their apartment, and it returns to the episode we know and love.

The One Where Emma Crawls

In one of the deleted scenes we would have got to see Emma crawling for the first time.

Rachel rushes in to tell Joey, who is shaving and cuts himself, before running across the hall to get Monica and Chandler.

There was a lot of excitement around Emma crawling (Warner Bros)

But when they all get back Emma has stopped and is just sitting playing with her toys.

Deciding to all stand still so they don't scare her, the four friends look slightly odd - and when Phoebe comes in she simply picks up a bowl and joins them, asking: "Who is painting us".

The One Where Chandler Has a Very, Very Awkward Dance With Monica's Mum

Okay, so we all remember the joke at Monica and Chandler’s wedding that he is struggling to dance due to his slippery shoes.

Oh dear... (Warner Bros)

You probably also remember that his dancing when he finally gets on the floor prompts Jack to say: “Chandler, you stole my moves!”

But what you won’t remember, is the moment he has a special dance with Judy that does not end well. "Sorry, mom!"

The One Where Phoebe Has a Headache

Amid all the 'Monica and Chandler secretly having sex in London' drama, came this deleted scene.

In The Truth About London, Phoebe visits Monica suffering a headache, resulting in our hostess with the mostess offering painkillers and foot rubs.

Obviously, with all that secret keeping weighing heavily on his mind, Joey decides he has a headache too, plonking his feet on Monica.

However Phoebe later reads all the side effects from the medicine, and it's fair to say it doesn't end well...

He ends up pulling down her skirt and revealing her red underwear to all the guests. Oops!

The One Where Everyone Loves London

We saw Ross desperately trying to make his marriage with Emily work after he says the wrong name at the alter, but what we didn't see was him trying to convince Carol and Susan to move to London.

His plan to get Carol and Susan to move to London doesn't work (Warner Bros)

This deleted scene shows Ross trying to persuade them to move to London so he can keep Emily happy and see Ben.

“They have great theatre, great accents, tea. They have a queen! And she’s a woman. It will be great because we'll have Big Ben and little Ben in the same city!”

Unsurprisingly, it doesn't go down well...

The One Where They Discuss Monica and Chandler's Wedding At Monica and Chandler's Wedding

The producers had a LOT of excitement to get into the wedding episodes, so it's hardly surprising that they had to cut some of the material.

Monica and Chandler's wedding was a huge Friends moment (Warner Bros)

This clip shows the friends being reunited after Monica and Chandler say their vows and share a very, very sweet moment.

It shows control-freak Monica pondering how successful her big day has been: “Is it too soon to see the video?”

Phoebe then offers a beautiful pause for thought, before Joey asks, “Monica, is it too late to switch from chicken to steak?”

It all then gets a bit too much for Ross as he talks about getting married to someone who said the right name, "isn't gay" and isn't drunk.

The One With a Dream Within a Dream

You might not think Friends and Inception have a lot in common, but wait until you see this deleted scene.

Joey gets so annoyed with Chandler for falling asleep during he premiere of his new film, that he can’t believe it.

Chandler reasons: “Maybe it didn’t happen. Maybe you fell asleep and dreamed the whole thing and this conversation we’re having is part of that dream!”
