Dele Alli starts, Erik Lamela dropped - Tottenham lineups Jose Mourinho should pick vs West Ham

Tottenham face their second game in five days on Tuesday night.

And if the first one against Manchester Untied was big, this one, against London rivals West Ham, is not much smaller.

For the Hammers fans at least, this is the big one every season for them, and with David Moyes' side battling relegation, it becomes even more important to win three points.

Can Spurs use their solid if unspectacular display against United to their advantage and pick up three points against West Ham?

And who will Jose Mourinho choose in his starting lineup for a quick-fire second game?

We asked our writers to pick their starting XIs for the match.

Jose Mourinho admits Steven Bergwijn wasn't first choice

Jose Mourinho giving nine players 90 minutes under their belt will serve them well over the coming weeks, but in the short term it might mean a few knocks, aches and pains coming into this second game in four days after so long off.

Dele Alli is likely to come back in and if fit Giovani Lo Celso will join him. Mourinho has admitted that Lucas Moura would be back for this game but would he be ready to go straight into the team?

If Dele and Lo Celso come in, it presents a tough decision on who to drop. Steven Bergwijn scored another great goal but I can't see Mourinho dropping Son.

The centre-back pairing creates a similar issue with Alderweireld likely to play but in doing so breaking up a partnership in Dier and Sanchez that worked well.

Gold's team: Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Davies; Sissoko, Winks; Lo Celso, Dele, Son; Kane.

Jose Mourinho will need to freshen up his squad on Tuesday evening with Tottenham set to play two games in quick succession following the return of Premier League football.

The head coach has plenty of players to choose from and that means he can make a couple of changes and still put out a very strong XI.

Toby Alderweireld should come into defence in place of Davinson Sanchez to partner Eric Dier, with Jan Vertonghen, who has just committed to the club for the remainder of the season, getting the nod at left-back.

Giovani Lo Celso came on for the closing stages against Manchester United on Friday night and he may well take Moussa Sissoko's place in the team and play alongside Harry Winks.

Dele Alli is back from his one-match ban for the game and Erik Lamela, despite playing well against the Red Devils, unfortunately may be the one to miss out on selection.

Spurs' front four will cause major issues for the Hammers' backline and Mourinho has the added benefit of having the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Gedson Fernandes and potentially Lucas Moura to bring on and give the team some fresh legs.

Guest's team: Lloris, Aurier, Dier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen; Winks, Lo Celso; Son, Alli, Bergwijn, Kane.
