Dele Alli has spoken out on a 'testing' few week of his career.
The midfielder was a key part of the Tottenham side who battled their way to the Champions League final last weekend - ultimately losing 2-0 against Liverpool in Madrid.
Defeat against the Reds was a huge blow after a dream run to the showpiece event, with Alli swiftly being flown to Portugal for England's UEFA Nations League semi-final with the Netherlands.
That was another game that didn't quite go to plan for Alli, but speaking on Twitter the England international said that he was happy to see out the season with a penalty shootout victory over Switzerland on Sunday.
He Tweeted: "Happy to end this week on a high!
"The past couple of weeks have been very testing, I’ve learned a huge amount and already can’t wait for next season.
"Thank you everyone for your continued support, forever grateful."
