Dele Alli has posted a message to Tottenham fans following his outing in Europa League.
The England international has found his first-team chances limited so far this season under Jose Mourinho.
This has prompted speculation surrounding his future at the club, and he was linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window.
That did not materialise in the end and he remains with Spurs until January, at the very least.
The 24-year-old made his fifth appearance in all competitions on Thursday night - three of them coming in the Europa League.
He came off the bench for the final half hour of Tottenham's 3-0 victory over LASK in their Group J opener.
He almost scored with 15 minutes remaining but the keeper got a touch on it and raced back to stop it going over the line.
Alli has now posted a photograph of himself in action during the match on Instagram, accompanied by the words: "Always grateful for the opportunity to do what I love most."
The caption is followed by the "pray" emoji.
Tottenham are back in Premier League action on Monday evening when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor.
