Dele Alli robbers 'threatened to kill' girlfriend Ruby Mae's dog during raid

Robbers who raided Dele Alli's mansion reportedly threatened to kill girlfriend Ruby Mae's pet dog.

Tottenham midfielder Alli was attacked by two men armed with knifes who broke into his £2million home in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Alli, who was with Ruby at the time of the terrifying raid, was punched in the face by the masked intruders. The robbers, who were armed with knifes, made off with thousands of pounds worth of jewellery.

And they also threatened to stab Ruby's pooch Uno unless the couple handed over their valuables, according to the Daily Star.

The publication quoted a source saying: “They were pretty nasty and after smashing their way in and punching Dele.

"They threatened everyone with physical harm unless they complied with their demands.

“They even threatened to kill the dog if things didn’t go the way they wanted them to. It was pretty scary.”

Alli was playing cards with Ruby, adopted brother Harry Hickford and his partner, when the attackers broke in.

Both Alli and Hickford suffered facial injuries after being assaulted by the attackers, who took off with jewellery and expensive watches.

One of the watches stolen is believed to be worth £850,000.

A police officer was seen leaving the £2million pad on Thursday morning, just hours after Alli broke his silence on the incident and before the England star left his property for the first time following the robbery.

A statement by Met Police confirmed that no arrests had yet been made but inquiries were ongoing.

It read: "Police were called at approximately 12.35am on Wednesday, May 13, to reports of a robbery at a residential address.

"Two males gained entry to the property and stole items of jewellery, including watches, before fleeing.

"Two male occupants at the property suffered minor facial injuries after being assaulted. They did not require hospital treatment.

"There have been no arrests. Enquiries into the circumstances continue."
