Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli posted a brilliant reaction to Raheem Sterling’s hat-trick heroics on social media.
The Manchester City winger was on fire for England in their opening 2020 European Championship qualifier, opening the scoring from close range before winning a first-half penalty, then adding two more after the break to claim the match ball.
It helped Gareth Southgate’s side storm to a 5-0 victory in Group A, putting them in a commanding position ahead of the clash with Montenegro on Monday, and Alli’s reaction summed up how everybody felt about the 24-year-old winger.
Using Instagram’s video filters, Alli ’s video played soothing music as the camera zoomed in on Sterling , who was surrounded by hearts and given a pink background.

Alongside the video was a brief message, calling Sterling a ‘hat-trick hero’ and he cooly played up for the camera, seductively biting his lip before making a gesture to the screen and showing a cheeky smile.
It is further evidence of the strong team spirit that can be found in the dressing room of Southgate ’s side, with players having a solid relationship despite any rivalries they may have at club level.
