Dele Alli names the Premier League star who has the potential to become one of the world's best

Tottenham really have a fight on their hands if they are to regain their place in the Champions League for the 2020/21 season.

In Europe's top competition for the past four campaigns, Jose Mourinho's men are currently five points off fourth and have 10 league games remaining to climb back in there.

Winning the Champions League final in Istanbul in May would see them automatically qualify but they head to RB Leipzig on Tuesday evening trailing 1-0.

Dele Alli has played a prominent role in Spurs' European games ever since his move from MK Dons in 2015 and he was set to task by OTRO to name his top four players outside the top four.

With a couple of his fellow England internationals making the cut, he also claimed that one of his selections has the potential to become one of the best in the world.

"My number one is going to be [Adama] Traore," he said. "It's very difficult when you have that much pace, but also just stopping, cutting in and changing direction is very difficult.

"He's a real threat every time they are in attack.

"Number two, I will say Ben Chilwell, a left-back from Leicester. We're from the same area, he's from Milton Keynes too, so I know a lot about him as a player and I've always watched watched him.

"We're such good friends as well and I think he's got potential to be one of the best in the world.

"If me and Ben Chilwell were going one-on-one, he may say he will stop me 10 times and I'd say I'd get past him 10 times.

"At number three, Marcus Rashford from Manchester United. He's an amazing player.

"I played with him at England and saw his talent. You can't put a limit on how good he can get as he's still so young and achieving so much, and he's got so much potential.

"Number four, I'm going to go with Jack Grealish. I'd seen him play before in the Premier League, but not playing at the same time.

"But watching him, he's a very good player and has got all my support."
