Dele Alli, Japhet Tanganga, Tanguy Ndombele - who trained & who didn't ahead of Bayern Munich

There is little for Tottenham to play for against Bayern Munich with qualification to the next round of the Champions League already assured. They have second place in Group B wrapped up and are unable to catch their German opponents in first place.

As such, Jose Mourinho could be expected to rotate his side and give opportunities to a few youngsters on Wednesday evening.

Oliver Skipp, Troy Parrott and Japhet Tanganga all trained at Hotspur Way ahead of the trip to Munich, as did goalkeepers Alfie Whiteman and Brandon Austin.

Harry Winks and Erik Lamela was still missing from training. The former picked up a knock in the defeat to Manchester United and was missing for the win over Burnley while Lamela has not featured for Spurs since the 5-0 home win against Red Star Belgrade.

Jose Mourinho said that he did not feel  Tanguy Ndombele  was in the best condition to start against Manchester United and the 22-year-old Frenchman also missed out on the squad to face Burnley with a groin injury. He was once again missing.

Dele Alli also appeared not to train ahead of the clash with Bayern. He was substituted against Burnley at the weekend, in what seemed a routine, tactical change and is perhaps been afforded the opportunity to rest.
