Dele Alli available for January loan transfer after failing to impress new Tottenham boss Antonio Conte

Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for Dele Alli in January, with a loan rather than permanent transfer most likely.

Dele has played just two minutes in the Premier League under Antonio Conte, having previously fallen out of favour with former head coaches Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espirito Santo.

Spurs rejected interest in Dele from Paris Saint-Germain – now managed by former boss Mauricio Pochettino – in the last two transfer windows but their stance has now changed and they will consider approaches for the 25-year-old next month.

Dele's contract runs until 2024 and Spurs are not expecting their valuation of the midfielder to be met given his lack of football in the past 18 months, making a loan move more likely.

He last started a league game on September 26, when he was replaced by Nuno at half-time of a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal, and he has since been largely restricted to minutes in the Europa Conference League.

Dele joined Spurs from MK Dons as a teenager in 2015 and quickly established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in the country - and a staple for club and country.

But his form has declined since Pochettino left the club in November 2019.
