Dele Alli among four stars told to never play for Tottenham again after Mura "disgrace"

Dele Alli and Tottenham Hotspur's record signing Tanguy Ndombele should never "wear a Spurs shirt again" for their roles in one of the most-embarrassing defeats in the club's history.

Tottenham fell to a 2-1 loss away at NS Mura in the Europa Conference League on Thursday as Amadej Marosa scored an added-time winner for the Slovenian minnows.

The visitors played the majority of the match with 10 men after Ryan Sessegnon received two yellow cards in the first half, following Tomi Horvat's opener.

Harry Kane brought Spurs level midway through the second half, but Marosa's late strike stunned the member of the Premier League's so-called 'Big Six'.

Antonio Conte did not hold back in his post-match assessment and tore into his players for their lack of quality.

The manager's thoughts were echoed in the Sky Sports studio, where Jamie O'Hara who delivered a withering verdict on the performance.

The former White Hart Lane prospect picked out midfielders Alli and Ndombele as well as defenders Matt Doherty and Davinson Danchez as unfit to wear the shirt.

"These are a Slovenian top-flight side that I would expect a National League side to give a game," O'Hara said.

"It has been a disgrace and some of the players - and I’ll name them as well - Doherty, Ndombele, Dele Alli, Davinson Sanchez were absolutely shocking.

"They shouldn't wear a Spurs shirt again some of them in my opinion."

O'Hara was baffled by a perceived lack of effort among fringe players who should be trying to impress Conte, who was only appointed earlier this month.

The former midfielder added: "This is a European game you need to win and go out and impress a new manager in Antonio Conte.

"You've got to go out there and give everything you’ve got and put in an unbelievable performance for yourself to say 'I want to be part of this group and part of this Conte era'.

"And not one player on that pitch deserves any credit from that game. It was a shocking performance.

"These players are strolling around the park like they’re dismissing this game as if they think they’re too good to play in it.

"It was an absolute disgrace from some of them - and if Conte doesn’t make big changes - get them out of the club, get rid of them, get them off the wage bill. We don’t want them, it was pathetic."
