Delays on trains between Edinburgh and Glasgow due to signal fault

A signalling fault has caused delays to trains running between Edinburgh and Glasgow on Thursday evening.

The problem was discovered on a section of the line between Croy and Falkik High.

Disruption is expected until 8.30pm and replacement buses are running between Falkirk High and Falkirk Grahamston.

ScotRail say works will impact services between Edinburgh and Glasgow this weekend 

ScotRail said: "We are dealing with a signalling issue between Croy and Falkirk High. Our staff are on site and are working hard to rectify the fault."

The issue was discovered before 7pm.
