There are long delays on the M66 following a collision involving a number of vehicles.
The smash took place on the southbound carriageway of the motorway, just after junction three for Pilsworth and Hollins.
Highways England shut the motorway for a brief period of time to remove the damaged vehicles.
All of the cars are now on the hard shoulder and the motorway has since re-opened.

However, there are still long delays building up to the A56 Edenfield bypass while traffic recovers.
At the moment, the are reports of delays of up to 30 minutes.
It is unknown at this stage if there have been any injuries.
A tweet from Highways England said: "The M66 from J3 (Pilsworth, Heywood) towards J4 (Simister Island) two lanes have been closed due to a collision.
"Traffic officers and @NWAmbulance are on scene."
