Road users are experiencing delays of up to an hour following a crash on the M8 westbound at Junction 5 near Harthill Services.
A van is currently on its side blocking both lanes with traffic using only the hard shoulder. The incident happened at around 3.30pm this afternoon.
Traffic is tailed back all the way to Junction 3A at Bathgate.
